Your wonderful generosity has made a double impact. First, you are equipping thousands of churches and groups around the world who have so little; and reaching out generously to children in need. This is a wonderful partnership between you and local leaders worldwide. Second, your generosity shows the children who receive your shoeboxes that you love them, and also that God loves them, too when they get to hear the Christmas story of the greatest gift of all – Jesus, from local churches.

We thank God for the millions of children that have received shoeboxes since Operation Christmas Child began distributions.

Samaritan’s Purse Japan was established in response to the Tsunami and earthquake in 2011, and Operation Christmas Child project began in 2012. During these past 7 years, Operation Christmas Child Japan was able to send more than 70,000 shoeboxes to the children in the Philippines!!

70,000 children. 70,000 precious lives. 70,000 families. We wonder how many salvations were brought forth as a result of that!!

We regret to announce that OCC Japan will discontinue its operation due to various challenges. Samaritan’s Purse Japan itself will remain and maintain its office in Sendai. A portion of donations that you have sent us last season was used for international transportation and other administrative expenses, and the balance will be transferred to OCC Headquarter for the shoebox project.
